Bryn Mawr College’s South Asian Students (SAS) is an organization dedicated to promoting South Asia, South Asian culture and its diaspora.
We organize various events ranging from community service to religious-cultural affairs, as well as aim to bring speakers to campus whose work pertains to cultural, social and political issues.
Each year, we host a culture show: a showcase of song, dance, readings, slideshows, movies, and art presented by SAS members and members of the Tri-Co community. In addition to the culture show, we work together with Haverford College’s South Asian Society (SAS) to celebrate Holi.
We also hope to collaborate with Deshi (Swarthmore) and SAS (Haverford), as well as other members of the Alliance of Multicultural Organization (AMO) in organizing more events while strengthening our relationship as a Tri-Co Community.
SAS, like all cultural organizations at Bryn Mawr, welcomes all students regardless of ethnicity, gender, nationality, race or religion.
